It all started with a request from Ryo Ishikawa, a professional golfer.
Based on his request, we started research and development of lenses to increase the visibility of the ball in the scenery of the golf course and make it easier to track the ball with the eye.
Working with Associate Professor Ichiro Katayama of Kinki University of Bioscience and Biotechnology, we developed a lens that makes the color of the ball stand out clearly and distinctly against the background of a golf scene, such as blue skies and green forests.
In addition, since the color of visibility when worn is natural and easily fits the eye, it can be used throughout the day with less strain on the eye even when wearing it all day.
